Android

1. Download the Face Duel APK on your Android phone.
2. Open the download. If Android asks, allow this browser or file manager to install this APK. You can turn that permission off again afterward.
3. Open Face Duel and choose Training or Play with a friend.

iPhone beta

The iPhone beta uses individual TestFlight invitations. A public installation link is not available here.

1. Install Apple's TestFlight app on your iPhone.
2. If you already have a Face Duel invitation email, open it on your iPhone and choose View in TestFlight.
3. To request beta access, email [email protected] with the email address you want to use for the invitation. Access depends on available beta builds and Apple's review.

If TestFlight says no build is available, contact support. Installing TestFlight alone does not install Face Duel.

Play with a friend

1. Both players install Face Duel. Choose Play with a friend and create a room.
2. Share the invitation or room code. Your friend opens it, or chooses Join by code.
3. Grant camera permission and follow the real camera check. Both players tap Ready once their camera and connection are ready.
4. After the countdown, keep both eyes open. The first player to two round wins wins the match.

After installing from an invitation, reopen the original link. Rooms can expire; ask your friend for a fresh invitation if needed.

Get the camera ready

Use even light, face the front camera and hold the phone steady. Keep your whole face visible. Glasses, glare, strong backlight and movement can make eye tracking harder.

Close another app using the camera. If permission was denied, enable Face Duel's camera access in your phone's Settings and start again. Backgrounding stops the attempt; return and begin a fresh one.
